Ministry of Education has disclosed today the new university students’ placement for the 2024/25 academic year. This placement is for students who took the 12th Grade National Examination and obtained passing marks to pursue their higher education in public universities under the regular program of the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry said that students can see their placement through website, telegram bot and SMS. The ministry said that students can check their placement online as of today Thursday 24, 2024.
This placement is for all public universities in Ethiopia excluding Addis Ababa University, Adama Science and technology University and Addis Ababa Science and technology University.
The ministry has also notified that students could not change the university placements, and any request related to this will not be accepted. It has not been stated the options to report the complaint related to placement issues.
How to check grade 12th university placement result online in Ethiopia? There are three ways: Website, Telegram bot and SMS. Here is the step-by-step guide to check it.
1. Website
To check your placement result online having student registration number is mandatory. Additionally, a computer or a mobile devices and internet are required. Next open a web browser and write https://placement.ethernet.edu.et and then enter your admission number. If the captcha comes, try to select the required images and then click view result. Congratulations, now you can find you university placement.
2. Telegram Bot
Go to telegram app which can be desktop or mobile and then searchhttps://t.me/moestudentbot or simply you can type @moestudentbot. Then you will find the following message.

Accordingly, start the bot, click the placement result, send the admission number and see your result.
3. SMS to 9444
This is also another option to check your placement result if the above two ways cannot work. You can send your registration number to 9444 and you get the text message having the placement result.
